If anything, the signs within September has been positively encouraging. As foreseen in the last reading, there has been a forward momentum pushing ahead in many different areas, from reciprocal border opening green lanes with countries, announcements of further relaxation of COVID measures, manufacturing output beating pivoting all odds against predictions from economists, to boosting of jobs in emerging sectors and the upcoming $100 ‘domestic tourism vouchers’. LOL. The overall vibration for September has no doubt been more upbeat but undoubtedly balanced by those sectors impacted directly by travel as signified by The Moon card in the last read. So…what lies ahead for Singapore in October? Here’s the read.
OUTLOOK (4 of Pentacles)
The overall theme for the October lies within saving money & resources, ensuring security of our foundations, being in control of spending and being conservative. The country no doubt has embarked on tremendous efforts and decisiveness in tiding its citizens over the trying periods earlier in the year, and it is now being cautious and careful in its approach to spending and allocating resources as it moves forward. The government of the day, commendably, is pragmatic and forward looking in its vision, and truth be told, they deserve credit for the ethos of ‘saving for a rainy day’. The four within the card speaks of further momentum to continue in reviving the economy in whatever way possible, however expect it to be progressive and realistic. There is no overnight instant results to expect at this point.
SITUATION (The Sun)
What a wonderful card! The Sun exudes vibrations of positivity, fun, warmth, success, vitality all around! Singapore and its peoples are definitely feeling a lot more upbeat then compared to the months prior. There seemingly is a renewed drive and vitality seen tangibly in our roads(more cars), people movement(going out, enjoying), construction taking place etc etc. The Sun also indicates that this exuberance will give birth to possibly new creative avenues, be in business, job creation or tackling the still ongoing covid situation at hand. We all can expect more positive news domestically to come in the upcoming months moving into 2021. Phase 3 really really likely before Christmas perhaps? Fingers crossed(and can hardly wait to walk around freely yet again without steaming up my glasses wearing a darn mask)
OBSTACLE (Knight of Wands)
While the drive and urge to succeed in all fronts to revive the economy is being actioned upon in full force, the month of October sees this action being curbed, and the ambitiousness momentarily subdued. One may expect news of possible delays or agreements not coming to fruition as agreed upon(i.e. opening up the Singapore-Johor causeway). However, due the Sun’s appearance, the confidence and vitality will see us through this temporary stoppage of action, and overcome it with the perseverance to succeed.
HOW IT UNFOLDS (The Empress)
Another Wonderful card! The Empress signifies beauty and abundance. It further is a manifestation of growth being nurtured. A powerful new door appears in October where Singapore enters a renewed period of growth, and all that had been set in place is coming to fruition. In short, whatever initiatives and strategic plans should produce fruit. Given the flow of really positive cards shown to us so far, I’m putting my head on the line by now predicting that Phase 3 will conclusively happen before the year ends. My intuition tells me that this period seems to get us all back to the days of ‘beauty’ and ‘splendour’ that we once remembered and enjoyed pre-covid, and The Empress also represents the birth of ‘new beginnings’. How exciting! Expect good news ahead in October thru December!
OUTCOME (Six of Swords)
This read thus far is really chirpy and cheery, and if you could see me typing this out for all of us, my face is plastered with a big smile that’s gleaming. The Six of Swords represents Singapore in a trajectory forward in its rite of passage, releasing baggage. This change is a positive one in enabling it to look forth to better things and days ahead. It also has strong indications of more travel, air, sea, land resuming. Overall, we can all look forward to really October ahead, and fingers crossed my predictions on Phase 3 manifests itself!
