“Mr Mark! What other learning or courses could you recommend for me to explore? I’m clueless what to do/learn next.”

Over the years in the course of my training engagements, I get asked this question by participants very often. Regretfully, for a long while, I’ve had no concrete answers for them as it’s really tough to recommend, or in it becoming simply a superficial exercise in suggesting some, as learning is so individually tied to the unique characteristics of an individual itself.

Sure…you could conveniently & logically recommend based on what’s in demand in the future labour market(do we really know though?), or what’s in trend at current, or what potential qualifications that might open up new doors…But again, these are merely based on what conventional conditioning we have all subject our lives to adhere by, perhaps the bigger question is in first trying to answer what sort of learning would best fulfil one’s personality, motivations, traits, or in feeling a sense of inner fulfilment/achievement. In short, learn something that best makes you happy and grow.

For those whom are not aware…the recent Skillsfuture credits( screenshot; thank you Gahmen!) are in for all Singaporeans in hoping they diversify themselves by picking up new skills and knowledge. So how apt, I now ask myself the same question: “Mr Mark! What courses or learning can I explore next?

Only this time round, I’ve got divine help at hand. Here’s my personal read what I ought to learn next.

WHERE AM I NOW IN MY LEARNING JOURNEY? (Oracle Card — GIFT)

Ok WOW…The Universe & Cosmos is all knowing and we’re connected. Here lies a visual of the little girl having her dreams come true by finally meeting a real mermaid. The Mermaid comes bearing gifts of magic, mystic and divine knowledge, gifting it to the little girl. The little girl accepts, and goes on to embrace and carry this gift of magic, belief in the wondrous, and divine knowledge and shares it with World. The vibrations of the visual fills my intuition and inner self with concrete affirmation to continue learning and embracing in these mystical gifts bestowed upon me. The Oracle reminds me of this sacred blessing, and not to let anyone or anything sway me away from this. It reinforces me to continue to hone the craft, spiritual self, and to continue to share these gifts outwardly. Be proud of who I really am & unafraid of announcing what I’ve become, sharing my gifts, love, passions, and creations with the world without filters or dimming my shine.

Oracle Card — SOVEREIGNTY

A sign from the divine, in which stands the three Virgin Goddesses. Athena, Goddess of wisdom and strategy; Artemis, Goddess of the Moon and the Hunt; Hestia, Goddess of the Home and Hearth. The Sovereignty oracle speaks of me having the power and authority to choose my path and no one has the right to say anything otherwise and of the choices I make or don’t make. The permission in embarking on anything new or ‘virgin’ lies only within myself. In some sense, it tells me to that the options should not come from any external influences of what’s best or worst for me, but to heed my own power in making that choice. The options are really open for me to choose at this point in time. I should look out of the box in seeing avenues for new virgin journeys.

Oracle Card — LEADERSHIP

A direct clue for an option of a next step pops up here….Featuring media mogul powerhouse Oprah Winfrey. Oprah is known for facing challenges in life and rose progressively to where she is now. Her productions over the years come with a focus on literature, self-improvement, mindfulness, and spirituality. Though she was criticized for unleashing a confession culture, promoting controversial self-help ideas, and having an emotion-centered approach, she has also been praised for overcoming adversity to become a benefactor to others. Keywords here coming to me very strongly include being bold, literature, self-improvement, mindfulness, helping others in their journeys and spirituality.

Oracle Card — DESIRE

You think of Fire and Passion when you view this Oracle. And indeed it is. Desire is huge driving and motivating force. It also signifies new avenues for creativity to flourish and to bring new things to life. When you connect to fiery desire, you feel it in your body which you could use to create change in your life. Keywords here coming to me very strongly include renewed motivations, Kundalini (yoga), new connection, opportunity to fall in love with something.

OUTCOME #1 (Oracle Card — SOVEREIGNTY + SIMPLICITY)

“Dabbling in music or its related forms”

Funny how I’ve always psycho-ed myself into believing all these years that I don’t have a scratch/whiff of musical intelligence in me. I sucked big time with the trumpet in the school’s military band…Then again, I joined for all the wrong reasons of meeting girls. With the Sovereignty Oracle telling me to “the options should not come from any external influences of what’s best or worst for me, but to heed my own power in making that choice.” Herein pops up a visual of a guitar player, as a big clue to say:”Go Try it! You’ve been dreaming of wanting to play the Guitar and sing with it since a kid!” And indeed I have since a young(and now matured) ‘air guitarist/bathroom rocker), and indeed I should prove myself wrong that I lack the musical talent. LOL

OUTCOME #2 (Oracle Card — LEADERSHIP + CLEANSE)

“Learning avenues in Holistic/Spiritual/Mystic healing”

Darn so Interesting! So completely aligned to my spiritual path and practice at hand….Not sure if there are Skillsfuture courses(most are centred upon jobs/work skills…yawn) that offer this but I’ve yet to check it out. Perhaps even taking a crystal or gemology course. Hmm…If connecting the Leadership Oracle to this, it tells me in order to further in becoming a ‘leader’ in my arena, the way forward to enhance it by further taking up learning to specialise in the specific subject matter/areas.

OUTCOME #3 (Oracle Card — DESIRE + CONNECTION)

“Yoga and Yogic Practice”

Wow again….Connecting the Desire Oracle card to this visual. It cannot get anything more conclusive and clearer than this. Admittedly, I’ve been procrastinating for such a long while. It’s time to do it. I really know for a fact that I’ll truly enjoy this, as I’ve always had with practising Yoga over the years sporadically.

Best option to embark on

The Universe says: “Just have FUN.” LOL. Noticed how all the guidance given through the cards have absolutely little to do with work? In line with what I always preach, don’t just look for learning that just enhances your skillsets or in chase for the qualifications in the hope for a better opportunity, but give yourself the opportunity to fulfil yourself by learning and growing enjoyably. Enough said.
